U13 Navy Girls make Thunder
history!
This
past weekend the U13 Navy girls team won their first round match in the
Ohio South Presidents Cup against BSA Celtics (score 2-1) and advanced
to the next round of elite 8. The following day, the team held Ohio FC
Black to a 0-0 tie after regulation play and two overtime periods.
After the first round of penalty kicks, the teams remained even. Ohio FC
Black eventually won in dramatic fashion during the second round of
penalty kicks. We would like to recognize the tremendous way this team
has represented Springfield Thunder. Way to go Coach Ernie and the U13
Navy Girls!
